Spicy Spiral Ham With Chunky Pineapple Glaze
1 (8 to 10 pound) fully-cooked spiral sliced ham
2 tablespoons vegetable oil
2 tablespoons Spice Delight Barbecue Rub
1 cup water
1 can (8 oz.) pineapple chunks in juice.
1 cup pineapple juice
2 tablespoons packed brown sugar
1 teaspoon ground cinnamon
2 tablespoons cornstarch
1 tablespoon water
Method for Ham
Preheat oven to 325 degrees. Place spiral sliced ham in large roasting pan.
Rub vegetable oil and Spice Delight Barbecue Rub evenly over ham.
Pour water in bottom of pan.
Cover with foil, roast according to package directions.
Method for Sauce
Heat the first 4 ingredients in a medium-size size saucepan over medium heat.
Bring to a slight boil.
Dissolve cornstarch in water. Slowly stir into boiling pineapple mixture.
Whisk until sauce is thickened.
Spoon sauce over roasted spiral sliced ham
